An independent guide

Tip Times is an independent guide. It is not a council, waste authority or government service and is not connected to, endorsed by or paid by any council or site operator listed. Names of councils, sites and companies are used only to identify them.

Opening times, booking and rules

Each fact is taken from a page published by the council or the site's operator, linked on the listing with the date we read it. Those pages can change at any time, and sites close for holidays, weather and other reasons without notice. Always check the council's page before you travel, especially if you need a booked slot, a van permit or are taking a large or hazardous load. A listing is a starting point, not a guarantee that a site will be open or accept your load at the price shown.

No warranty

We take care to keep listings accurate. The site is still provided "as is", without any promise that it is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on it, including a wasted trip or a refused load. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Fair use

The site's text, code and design belong to AUSSIE-AI LTD unless stated otherwise. Map and site location data are from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License. Council areas come from the Office for National Statistics, and postcode areas from OS Code-Point Open, both under the Open Government Licence (contains OS data, Royal Mail data and National Statistics data, Crown copyright and database right).

Pages link to council and operator websites and may show ads. We don't control those sites or advertisers and are not responsible for their content.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
